Richard Cumming
BVetMed MRCVS
Richard is the Director and started The Cattle Vet in 2020. He grew up with a farming background breeding pedigree Welsh Blacks but has now got Pedigree Simmentals on his family farm. When he has time he is keen to throw a white coat on, and showing his Simmentals.
Lavinia Chantrey
BSc(hons) BVetMed(hons) MRCVS
Lavinia joined the team at the start of 2022. She graduated from Royal Veterinary College in London. Lavinia enjoys taking part in unique marathon challenges in her spare time or coastline walks with her pooch, Brandy.
Jon Chantrey
BVetMed MRCVS
Jon joined our team in the summer of 2022. He graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in London. Jon is a petrol head if he isn't watching grand prix, he is tinkering on his motorbike.
Rose Charnley
MRVCs BVetMed BSc PgCert
Rose joined us in September 2023. She completed an internship in the USA on nutrition and system efficiency. Rose moved to Wales in 2019 and is now a tenant farmer with her partner alongside vetting with us at TCV.
Ben Blowers
BVetMed PGDipVCP MRCVS
Ben Joined us in October 2023. He graduated from the RVC in London and has completed an internship in farm animal medicine. He has a keen interest in cattle lameness, publishing a research paper on Mobility scoring in 2023. When not talking lameness, you might find yourself running into him playing rugby for his local club Laugharne.
Anna Wilshaw
Anna was the first member of staff to join the team and works in reception and head of accounts. She has been in the farming sector her whole life. Horses are her passion which keep her busy competing at weekends but when she makes it on farm, she does love a cuddle with a cow.
Abbie Ball
Abbie, is our newest admin member to join the team. In her extra time she helps on a aberdeen angus beef herd. Her bubbly personality is a hit with all our cilents who call into the office and her abilty to speak welsh is loved by our local farmers.
Gilly Finucane
Gilly is part of our reception team. She is one of our qualified TB testers at the practice. At home she has a herd of pedigree Murray Greys on the family farm which she likes to show off at some of the agricultural shows in the UK.
Kate Davis
Kate is part of our reception team. She helps on TB testing if not in the office. Most weekend she is out and about competing with horses. When not competing she has a herd of pedigree blondes and sheep keeping her busy at home.
